It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my warm greetings to all students, faculty members & stakeholders of the Dept of Commerce at Dhamma Dipa International Buddhist University. The introduction of the Master of Commerce program in 2024 marks a significant milestone in our journey, reflecting our commitment to excellence in higher education and the development of future leaders in business, trade, finance, accounts & other sectors. The Dept of Commerce, in keeping with the vision of our University, strives to integrate academic rigor with ethical values inspired by the principles of wisdom, compassion, and mindfulness. Our M.Com curriculum is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Taxation, and Corporate Governance, etc while also nurturing analytical thinking, research aptitude, and professional skills required in today’s competitive global environment. We are privileged to have a dedicated team of faculty members whose expertise, enthusiasm, and mentorship create a vibrant learning atmosphere. Our approach emphasizes interactive pedagogy, research based projects, industry linkages, & the use of technology enabled learning tools to ensure that our students are well prepared to meet both national and international career challenges. DDIBU, with its serene and inspiring surroundings, offers a unique environment for academic pursuit and personal growth. Here, students not only gain knowledge but also cultivate values that guide them to become socially responsible professionals.

As we move forward, the Department remains committed to continuous improvement, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with society and industry. I welcome all to join us in this journey towards academic excellence and holistic development.
