As the Ombudsperson, I serve as a neutral and confidential resource to address concerns, mediate disputes, and promote equitable solutions across the university community.
The Office of the Ombudsperson plays a vital role in ensuring that every member of DDIBU—whether student, faculty, researcher, or staff—feels heard, respected, and supported. We work independently and impartially to resolve issues related to academic fairness, administrative decisions, workplace concerns, discrimination, and other grievances.
In a university that proudly hosts a wide range of disciplines—from Science, Arts, Commerce, and Management to Law, Pharmacy, Paramedical Sciences, Buddhist Studies, and Education—our responsibility is to ensure that all voices are acknowledged, and every concern is addressed with diligence and empathy.
Our aim is not only to resolve conflicts but also to build a culture of trust, openness, and dignity. We also contribute to policy recommendations that enhance transparency, fairness, and institutional accountability. Confidentiality and impartiality are at the heart of every case we handle.
